It uses CAD/CAM technology (computer-aided design/computer -aided manufacturing) technology to create precise and customized restorations from digital impressions.

BruxZir Zirconia restorations are dental restorations made from high-strength zirconia material known for its durability and natural appearance. Thy are commonly used for crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and implant- supported restorations, offering excellent strength and esthetics.

Additionally, BruxZir Zirconia restorations are esthetically pleasing, closely resembling natural teeth in color.

The fabrication process begins with the digital impressions of the patient’s teeth using the ITERO scanner. These digital impressions are then used to design the restoration using CAD (computer-aided design) software. Once the design is approved and finalized by Dr. Van Winkle or Dr. Homayoon, the Glidewell IO precisely mills the restoration from a solid block of BruxZir Zirconia material, ensuring accuracy and a perfect fit.
